The front cover of this full leather rebound first has a marvelous gilt illustration. Full maroon leather with gilt illustration on the front. The spine has five hubs, gilt decoration and gilt text. All page edges are gilt. Heavily illustrated by Arthur Hughes. 378 pages plus 13 pages of ads. The cloth of the original covers is bound in. A really beautiful copy presented in a dark red slip case. The exterior of the book is fine, as is the slip case. Text block is VG+.
