The Mimicry of a Moth: a short story

Is it healthy to always follow through with something just because you set a goal years ago? No. Not always. It's okay to change course. Sometimes we need to take a different road, try something else. That is not failure; It is strength. The metamorphosis that a moth goes through is not always easy, in fact it is quite brutal in the beginning. This difficult transformation, is very similar to the growth Nona experiences as she learns more about who she truly is, which is not the butterfly she pretends to be. With all transitions, phases will be different, just as life happens in stages.
